Fashion news. As women, we’re always on the lookout for the latest healthier, lighter or more delicate products for our skin, but let’s not forget about the nailcare.  Many nailcare brands are changing their formulas to include less (and in some cases, no) toxins.  Nail Polishes can be gentle on the nails and long-lasting.  So, for the upcoming Autumn shades we have paired some nail friendly polishes with some hot nail colours; AFRONOIRE introduces you to organic nail brands.  Here’s to healthier nails this fall.

Barely there Nudes and Neutrals As seen at the Alexander Wang and Ralph Lauren 2014/15 shows, all nails were minimal and coated with nudes, soft pale pinks and beige tones.  This natural and muted colour palette suits all skin tones, is very elegant and even slimming on the hands.  If you have a lighter/browner complexion, try nudes shades.  For darker skintones go for taupe, coffee and cappuccino coloured nail polishes.

Our chosen pick is Sheer Nude from natural nail brand ORLY.  This professional manicure and pedicure brand provide an excellent range of colours, all free from DPB, Toluene and Formaldehyde (also known as ‘being 3-free’). Coloured Tips Think French manicure with a bright tip. Article courtesy afroNOIRE.
