The Direct Assistance Grant Scheme Workshop is brought to Belize in partnership with Beltraide and will be attended by Belizean firms and Business Support Organisations (BSOs).

The workshop will increase the schemes awareness with the Belizean private sector and those attending the information and training sessions will gain a greater understanding of the process for applying for grant funding.

Ultimately, the workshop’s aim is to not only increase the number of applicants from Belize but also the number of successful applications of the Direct Assistance Grant Scheme.

In addition through delivering the training to BSOs it is anticipated that their capacity is increased to support and provide assistance to local firms when preparing applications for upcoming calls for proposals.

The delivery of this workshop is part of Caribbean Exports overall objective to enhance the competitiveness among CARIFORUM’s private sector.
