Children and Alcoholics

| October 28, 2018

My guest on The Dolor Factor is Hilary Henriques MBE. She is the co-founder of the National Association for Children of Alcoholics (NACOA). The organization provides information, advice and support for everyone affected by a parent’s drinking.

Imagine hearing this…”It was all hidden, my mum was the classic secret drinker, the Jekyll and Hyde. What hurt most was that she seemed to love her gin and vodka more than us.”
How do you think that child would be affected by the experience?

Join the revealing discussion on The Dolor Factor on Colourful Radio – Thursday 1 November at 9am.
