Welcome to the first in a series of articles on the Caribbean’s participation in this year’s 30th Olympiad in the United Kingdom.
Like many Carribbean territories, Cuba is scheduled to compete at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, from July 27 to August 12, 2012. Known for their superior skill and dominance of the Boxing category, Cuba has registered to participate in a number of events this year.
Cuban athletes have so far achieved qualifying standards in the following athletics events (up to a maximum of 3 athletes in each event at the ‘A’ Standard, and at the ‘B’ Standard)
