Death Notice: Gwendolyn Joseph-Hackett (Barbados)

With sad and heavy hearts we announce the passing of GWENDOLYN JOSEPH-HACKETT of St.  James, Barbados, born on the 8^th of July 1921.

GWENDOLYN JOSEPH-HACKETT   was the oldest surviving Barbadian resident in Nigeria, arriving in the country over a decade before its independence in 1960.

Until her death, on the 10^th of February 2014, MS GWENDOLYN JOSEPH-HACKETT worked with the Catholic Mission, at Babalosa, Mushin area of Lagos State, Nigeria. She was buried on the 19^th of February 2014 at Athan cemetery, Yaba, Lagos.

She was 93 years old.
