Diabetes UK Community Champion on Newstyle Radio

| March 8, 2020
As some of you  know the  manager  Phillip Murphy of  Newstyle  Radio station,  Dudley Road, bordering Sandwell/Black Country and Birmingham  which caters mainly  for the black community  gave me the opportunity  on Monday  2nd March to host  a 2 hour show on Health and Wellbeing in relation to diabetes. This community station is being proactive in its effort to get the message heard and acted upon  in communities and I applaud their initiative.

As a Diabetes UK Community Champion volunteer and a Patient Lead for NHS Birmingham and Solihull  Clinical Commissioning Group I interviewed a total of six health care professionals and you  are now able to listen/view  on the link below.  Please forward to others as feedback received from the community is that it was an informative show. View below:

Kind regards,
Tony Kelly
