Infinite Mas: The new kids on the block

Caribbean news. As Notting Hill Carnival approaches the UK is embracing the hot summer days. In the midst of all the Mas Band Launches for the main event on Monday 31st August 2015, Infinite Mas have made their presence known.

Branded as the new kids on the block, Infinite Mas launched their brand new Notting Hill Carnival section on Friday 15th May alongside Eclipse Mas, who is the band that they are on the road with.

With a combination of bold, complementing colours, section leader Louise Sterling-Jackman, also known as the multi-award winning soca song-stress Ms Desire said, “Our aim was to create something simple yet effective. We could have gone down the route of huge feathers and loads of gems, but we wanted to create something different that would stand out and set us apart”.

The costumes were designed by both Louise ‘Ms Desire’ Sterling-Jackman and Shakira Hamblin of Arikah’s Designs, with the costumes ranging from £120-200.  Registration is now open to all  at www.infinitemas.com.
