Caribbean news. With just only a few days until coronation night, the Miss Barbados UK delegates are making their final preparations to impress the judges.
The three month intensive training and educational programme has come to an end and the top scorers in various judged segments have been announced. Marika Kinch came out on top in the Beauty with a Passion segment achieving 325 points out of a possible 360. Marika impressed the judges with her charity proposal to help women who have been a victim of domestic violence.
Milan Gomes, Rheanne Murray and Sophia Mackay, grabbed the top three spots in the talent segment and will be performing their talents on the night. Marika Kinch, Milan Gomes, Ruschelle Thompson and Sophia Mackay all placed in the creative wear segment where they had to design a sustainable costume that was inspired by their theme, making it out of at least 70% of recycled items.
The final touches are being made and everything is all set for the coronation night taking place this Saturday 25th April 2015, 6-11pm at the legendary Bush Hall, 310 Uxbridge Road, London W12 7LJ.
