Given the threat that COVID-19 has unleashed, disrupting normal everyday life as we know it, Notting Hill Carnival Pioneers Festival will not take place this summer. In keeping with current precautions to limit mass gatherings and in the interest of public health Notting Hill Carnival Pioneers have decided to cancel its 2020 event.

The Community Festival is the biggest precursor event to Notting Hill Carnival and will continue with this tradition in 2021. To all our supporters, sponsors, entertainers, volunteers and the community at large during the last seven years, we thank you for your support and hope to see you in 2021.

This is a temporary setback, but the health and wellbeing of our community is of paramount importance and Notting Hill Carnival Pioneers will be supporting all initiatives that will bring a resolve to the current pandemic that has plagued the world.

David Kalloo

NHCP Press Officer

Notting Hill Carnival Pioneers is supported by the Arts Council of England, Carnival Village, West Way Trust, City Living Local Life.
