Check out this poem by UK poet and spoken word artist Dean Atta entitled ‘I Am Nobody’s N***er.’ The poem penned in the wake of the Stephen Lawrence trial addresses the use of the N–Word and asserts that it cannot be reclaimed. The poet thought-provokingly addresses the use of the term in pop culture, especially Hip-Hop music, name-checking rap artists Jay-Z and Kanye West.
