Caribbean news. Rumors are swirling that Dancehall artiste, Chino and his beauty queen girlfriend and baby’s mother Yendi Phillips have called it quits on their relationship. The couple did a good job in keeping their relationship under wraps until they dropped a bomb by announcing their pregnancy on social media. This move attracted a lot of negative comments from the public; some of which, the beauty queen was not very pleased with. After the pregnancy announcement; the couple went public with their relationship, doing interviews together and making public appearances.
According to recent rumors, the fairytale has ended. According to The Weekend Star, these rumors started from late last year; however the couple neither denied nor confirmed them. When contacted about the rumors, Chino’s response was, “Where did you get that information from? I am in the middle of something right now and I cannot comment on that.” After, which he hung up. Yendi did not let off much either, saying “I want you to stop using my number to ask me stupid things.”
These responses apparently did nothing but increase speculations. The two are not following each other in Instagram according to the Weekend Star. Also, they have removed pictures of each other from their Instagram accounts. Unfollowing and unfriending on social media and the removal of pictures is one of the most popular reactions of couples after a break up. So this move by the couple has sent tongues wagging even more.
The two welcomed their baby girl in September of 2012.
