THURSDAY MAY 23, 2013; KINGSTOWN, SAINT VINCENT and the GRENADINES – As part of its activities during the 2013 ASCCCPA Caribbean Port Games, the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Port Authority Sports and Cultural Club have adopted the bus stand near the Geest Shed making Caribbean news.

This is in keeping with the organization’s social responsibilities, according to an official. First step was the repainting of the bus shelter by two members from each of the participating countries in this year’s Caribbean Port Games.

Port officials did the painting on Monday morning May 20, 2013; coming from Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, the British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, St. Kitts/Nevis, Saint Lucia, and hosts Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

An official adoption ceremony is being planned and is sure to make Caribbean news and may coincide with the club’s anniversary, which is in October.
