The event’s primary focus was detailing the 22-year history of Tropical Sun Foods, beginning with the brand’s origins, moving through product development and culminating on community collaboration, and amongst others the brand’s work within BAME communities, including their Classrooms for Jamaica, Marfo Children Care Foundation and Sickle Cell UK projects.

Media representatives being addressed

Attendees were served with international food made with Tropical Sun products including jerk chicken, jollof rice and spiced bun ‘n’ cheese. Following presentations by the brand’s directors, marketing director and brand manager, media were invited to ask questions, give feedback and put forward ideas – and the event was brought to a close with warm and productive conversations between brand representatives and media members.
