Commonwealth Diaspora Investor Survey

| January 18, 2018

Dear Fellow Jamaicans,

Warm New Year’s Greetings and best wishes for a productive 2018.

Reference is made to the High Commission’s email below dated 19th December 2017 encouraging participation in the Commonwealth Diaspora Investor Survey.

The High Commission was advised by the Commonwealth Secretariat that regrettably, only 53 responses were received by the earlier deadline of 5th January 2018.  A minimum of one hundred (100) responses is required for Jamaica to be included in the final report. In this regard, the deadline has been extended to 23rd January 2018 to facilitate additional responses.

The High Commission is appreciative of those who have taken the time to complete the online survey and wishes to encourage others to do same. The outcome of this important survey will assist the Government of Jamaica in identifying and addressing impediments to Diaspora investment, assist in the establishment of preferred products, as well as in the improvement of services to facilitate overall development and growth in Jamaica.
