The St.Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival continued with its diverse offering Monday night entertaining the hundreds who flocked to the Rodney Bay Village. It was the second act for the St.Lucia Sound Stage.
After a hiatus, the event has made a come back, bigger and better. In keeping with the new direction of St.Lucia Jazz, Sound Stage presented local poets and dancers an opportunity to showcase their talents.
But the night really belonged to Groovy Soca King, Teddyson John, who continues to prove his worth. A versatile vocalist, John swooned the audience with ballads, reggae, soca and calypso.

The Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival opened on April 30th at the Mindoo Phillip Park and encompassed a kaleidoscope of Caribbean music and artistry that featured performances from Jamaica’s Konshens, Haiti’s T- Vice, Trinidad and Tobago’s Kerwin Dubois & Benjai, and national acts Superman HD, Ricky T and Thygeson ‘Penn’ Joseph.
The festival’s main headliners include celebrated multiple Grammy-winner R Kelly, the O’jays, Brian Culbertson, The Jacksons, Akon, Tony Allen, Ronald ‘Boo’ Hinkson, David Rudder, Tito Puente Jr., Ginuwine and ACE Loctar.
