Violence in any shape or form is totally unacceptable in my opinion.

However in an intimate relationship setting; it is treated a bit more sensitive. There will always be differences in a relationship.

Unfortunately, those differences can sometimes be very intense which actually leads to violence.

Violence is not something new in intimate relationship. However, the difference is that it is no longer being hidden or kept a secret; in fact it is now being advertised. Yes, I did say advertise; women are now broadcasting their scars as evidence that their men love them.

I do not want to seem stereotypical; however the majority of those women are from inner-city communities. Actually, it seems as if they hold those scars dear to them as a mark of honour.

Therefore, I am thinking if you do not have a scar from your boyfriend or husband, then you are in a loveless relationship? Or maybe you are just not up with the time or with current fashion or trend.

Is your relationship on the rocks?

It is very sad that violence has now become something positive.

I guess it is just a part of our changing culture. We know that men are being silently abused by women.
Thus is it fair to say based on current trends that in a couple of years time, they too will be broadcasting their scars as evidence that their women love them?
