Dancehall star Sean Paul is set to get married later on this month in a private ceremony that is shrouded in secrecy. The artist known for hits such as ‘Gimmie The Light,’ ‘We Be Burning’ and more recently ‘She Doesn’t Mind,’ reportedly popped the question to long-time girlfriend and TV host Jodi Stewart.

The artist is set to tie the knot in what has been a good year so far, with his latest album Tomahawk Technique doing well globally. Paul is said to have asserted that he is happy and fortunate to have someone with whom he can share with, stating last month in an interview with The Gleaner “I don’t usually get that personal in interviews … but I am happy. There are always things in life that are topsy-turvy, but when you have somebody by your side, it’s a great thing.”

Guests to the wedding are none-the-wiser as to where the nuptials will take place, as in an effort to protect their privacy the couple have kept the ceremony’s location private. Guests will arrive at the wedding location by shuttle bus from an unnamed venue, to see the couple exchange vows, after a ten year relationship.

Stewart is herself an accomplished host having worked on RE-TV’s flagship show VIP Backstage as well as RE-View, BET’s J’s Video Countdown and The Roof on Telemundo. Sean Paul is said to have taken their relationship to the next step by proposing during the festive season.
