Last week’s episode was arguably one of the most dramatic episodes yet with a number of surprises. Firstly, the elimination last week was based on the drink mixing challenge the week before. Tia aka So Sick won the challenge and was therefore the recipient of the A plus (A+) badge and of course went on a date with Kartel. They went to Morgan’s Harbour and had seafood. For the elimination, Tami, to the surprise of many was eliminated, as according to the teacher he is not sure if she is his pet or Tia’s pet, since she and Tia have become so close. Boston and Brooklyn were also eliminated to the surprise of no one. It was expected that Boston would have been eliminated since the only reason she was not eliminated at the last elimination round was because she won the challenge. Brooklyn was also expected to be eliminated amidst the infidelity rumors that Kartel claimed she eventually confessed to him about. Also her badly made synthetic wigs were very difficult on my eyes each week.
Moving on, there were no challenges last week, last week was an activity week. The ladies were brought to the Shocking Vibes Studio where they were to voice a part of a song with Kartel. They were to come up with their own lyrics. In my opinion, that activity should have been a challenge instead. Salem also shared that opinion. She, in my opinion did the best in the activity. Trini could barely be heard but what I actually heard sounded good enough. Atlanta also sounded ok enough, she did a rap on the track and it mixed nicely with Kartel’s DJ style on the track. Tia did the worst in my opinion, her voice sounded husky and masculine and it just came off too strong for a woman. Tibby also did not do so well in that activity.
Those are just my opinions, however and they matter very little. Also Kartel is in total disagreement with some of my opinions as he thought all the girls did well and Tia in particular did extremely well in his opinion.
Finally last week, a new female was added to the house. Her name is Candy and she is from Trinidad. Apparently she is from urban Trinidad and Trini is from rural Trinidad. Was it just me or did Trini seem a bit nervous when her fellow country woman was introduced? Well we will just have to wait and see what happens from here. My bet is still on Trini and Salem.
